Like many homes in Coorparoo, Brisbane, this one was a little small for our clients and their growing family. While the house had stunning featured ceilings, overall it needed loving attention, and modernising to suit a busy family lifestyle. In keeping with the streetscape, the house was raised and restumped with timber cladding carried through to the ground floor which housed the new living area.

The new addition and renovations involved: creating four bedrooms with large walk-in robes, en suite, two bathrooms, power room, laundry and additional storage, as well as a new kitchen and living areas, plus a double garage on an 800m2 block.

L.A.K. Constructions carried the timber theme inside the house with timber benchtops, floors, staircase, and cabinets all showcasing beautiful wood finishes creating warmth and luxury.

The open plan living expanse downstairs combines the kitchen, lounge, dining and outdoor areas creating a fully functional space for the family to enjoy together.

Our client maintains that they are extremely happy to be living in such a beautiful home where everything has a place. Now they can relax and enjoy the spaces created through the clever design layout and construction of their home.

Ultimately, this is the true test of a successful renovation.
